We have some close family friends who live there. Funny, mostly girls! The only guys are the husbands. Even the two dogs are girls!! We had a great time. Above, I'm eating dinner with the little girls (mine & Elizabeth's girls). The big girls & moms sat at the big girls table. Notice Grace under the table. She knows where to find the good stuff! Karen made a delicious turkey dinner. Boy was that good!
After dinner some of the girls got out the bikes. Boy was that fun. Karen & Amy's yards meet together & there's a great area for bikes, pogo sticks, chalk drawing, etc.
My little one didn't want to ride with Mama. It's more fun with the other girls.
Check out these cool bikes.
It's always fun to play in the water. Here are my girls in the birdbath.
Amy's youngest is great on the pogo stick. She could jump 40 or more times before falling!
Amy has two dogs, Sadie & Grace. Grace is a sweet dog. She loved to lay in our laps and sleep. She was especially loving when we were eating our healthy chocolate!!
Poor Sadie got her ear stuck in the wood pallets last week. She was going after a cat... She got her cone off the day after we left. She keeps a good eye out for birds and cats in the yard.
We got to spend some time with Grandpa too. We spent some time at his house on Friday and he also took us to a yummy Mexican restaurant on Saturday night. We spent time with Diane too. It was great to meet his girlfriend. She's a sweet lady. It was nice to see our aunt Shirley as well. It's been a long time since I've seen her & the girls had never met her.We had a nice visit with them.
By the end of our weekend, we were all pretty tired. We had so much fun playing, visiting, eating and playing that we were just exhausted!
The whole weekend got a "thumbs up!"
