Our 4th of July

We had our little July 4th celebration in the street in front of our house. Since sparklers & any fireworks using fire are illegal in our town, we did poppers from Target. It was pretty fun. However, it was really hot. Must have been 105 with high humidity.

She's trying again but we thought she was a little young to play with poppers.

The older one tried one, but she got a string burn from pulling the string. Bandaid to the rescue.

We had Jenn & Jason Sloss over for hamburgers and hot dogs. Mark bought Nathan's hot dogs in honor of the big hot dog eating contest on Coney Island. We didn't have a contest, but we ate them all. Yummy!
