When we went to a family reunion a few years ago in Mendocino, CA we drove back via Hwy 1 and stopped in Bodega Bay. We're big fans of Hitchcock movies. So we got some photos of us at the house where they filmed the Birds. That was a fun trip home. I'd love to go on another road trip like that where we just drove and stopped wherever we wanted. We spend the night in Santa Cruz and then tried to go on a tour of Hearst Castle the next day, but it was closed or the lines were too long.

While looking around on Etsy today (haven't been too motivated to work much, which I'll pay for later tonight) I found this
fancy headband.

Do you think it would go with my new pendant?

This has nothing to do with birds, but we had our
niece and her husband as guests this weekend. It was a lot of fun. Check out her
blog for more info & some cute photos. I'll blog more about it later. Need to get back to work.

Ahhhh thats so cool! The Birds!!! What a strange and awesome movie! I'm so happy you got to go to Bodega Bay! I made Levi watch that movie with me...we rented it once because he'd never seen it. It's so old and comical! And yet it has always really scared me....What other Hitchcock movies do you recommend?? I've see Rear Window and Psycho.
My favorites are:
Rear Window
Marnie
Vertigo
To Catch a Thief
Dial M for Murder
The Trouble with Harry
Another movie that's like a Hitchcock (but not by him) is Charade.
Thanks Stef! Oh yes I've seen Marnie...that was a good one!
