What we've been up to...

It has been a wonderfully busy past few months. I don't know how it happened, but we sold tons of scrabble pendants to great people all over the world. We have been blessed with a fabulous rep who sells our line to shops around southern California and Arizona. We have pendants on the Queen Mary even! She's awesome!! The Lord has really blessed us with this business. These past few months, we've been able to have 3 wonderful ladies helping us package orders. We couldn't have done it all without them. Thank you! We are so grateful for this fun business, for the wonderful shoppers who bought so many gifts (even if they were gifts for themselves) and especially for the ladies who've helped us these past couple months.

Since we've been so busy and haven't blogged in forever, I thought I'd post some photos of what we've been doing the past few months.

Here's the girls on Picture Day. Only the oldest got her photo taken at school. But they're so cute together, aren't they?

Girls in boots.
Our little one just LOVES shoes! She even asked Santa for shoes for Christmas. He's a good Santa and brought them both a pair.

Our friend Anika served a mission here a few years ago. It was so nice to visit with her for a couple days. She lives in Norway.

Sparkle Mist is our oldest. This was taken at the church Halloween party. Isn't she pretty?

Our littlest one was Ariel for Halloween. It's nice that it's not too cold here in October.

The elementary school hosted a great Halloween party. There were booths of games and prizes. Here is our kindergarten teacher at her booth. There was even a haunted house for the kids. They had 2 one for the little ones and a scary one for the big kids.

The girls won bubbles at one of the booths. They sure had fun blowing the bubbles!

On Halloween night we went out trick-or-treating in a nearby neighborhood. Our neighborhood is still somewhat empty with a lot of foreclosed homes. It's starting to fill up though, which is nice.

We had Elder Bessendorfer (Utah) and Elder Stewart (Canada) over for Malaysian food. It was Elder Stewart's birthday that day. So we celebrated. Last week we enjoyed Japanese food. Teriyaki Salmon is my favorite. Along with that we had miso soup, sushi, rice, and endamame.

Our oldest was Student of the Month! Yay! Congratulations!!

The elementary school had a Pow Wow the day before Thanksgiving. The kids got to dress up. It was great. The school had a Hoop Dancer come and dance for the kids. That was amazing. I caught the tail end of the program.

For Thanksgiving we drove up to Utah for a family reunion. We haven't been there for 10+ years. We took the girls to Temple Square. That was fun. It sure was cold though.

One day we'll be blessed to really stand at the Lord's feet.
What a great day that will be!

This is the McCune Mansion. We had our wedding reception there. You can read about the history here. I hear it's haunted now. Alfred McCune is a great-uncle (I think) to my husband. This mansion is beautiful. You may have seen it across from the Conference Center up on the hill. If you ever get a chance, and they're open, you should tour it. It's beautiful inside. My mother-in-law took music lessions there before she married. Isn't that funny?

Gathering for a family photo in front of the tree isn't always easy. We had a great time visiting family in Utah. It's always nice to be with family.

At church, we had a fantastic Christmas in Zarahemla program.
What fun that was! The decorations were incredible. The food was to die for.
There were great activities for the kids too. What a fun night!

We hope you had a wonderful 2008. Merry Christmas!

May you find happiness, great health, and prosperity in 2009!
Happy New Year!
